Pastoral Council

Mathew 5:14-16.  “You are the light of the world.  A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bushel basket; it is set on a lamp stand, where it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."   


Fr. Todd Riebe (Pastor)

Fr. Todd has been the Pastoral leader of St. Mark Parish for nearly five years and came at the kind invitation of Bishop Coyne.

Deacon Tom Horn

Deacon Tom has been a member of St. Mark Parish for thirteen years. After initially attending due to the proximity to his home, Deacon Tom found his Parish home and has been involved in numerous ministries and activities within the Parish. He enthusiastically serves St. Mark Parish as the Director of Religious Formation.

Donna Kern (Chairperson)

Donna has been a member of St. Mark Parish for thirteen years. She joined because her husband’s family was one of the founding families; but more importantly they wanted their  girls to attend a Catholic School
and be raised in the Catholic Faith.  After years of being away from the Catholic faith, they had finally come home.

Donna has served or is serving as the Lay Director for Christ Renews His Parish- Team 3, Fun Fest, Dinner Dance, Mary’s Way, former member CYO coach, volunteered in the school library and has worked with many other St. Mark committees and events that needed meals provided. Donna also serves as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.

Donna is married to Chuck Kern & have 3 grown daughters, Brittany, Bethany, and Brianna and one granddaughter, Isabella, who currently attends St. Mark School.  

William "Bill" Sherman - Vice-Chairperson

Bill has been a member of St. Mark Parish for twelve years and became a member due to the proximity to his home and the welcoming atmosphere of St. Mark Parish.

Bill is a Commander - 4th Degree Color Guard & Honor Guard and former Grand Knight of the Knight's of Columbus Council 3660 as well as a former Faithful Navigator of the Knight's of Columbus Assembly 245.

Bill is a former President of the Serra Club.

Bill is a member of the St. Mark Men's Club, works on the Fun Fest, and serves as a Lector, Hospitality Minister, and as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion at 7:30 am Mass.

Nathan Campbell - Secretary

Nathan has been a member of St. Mark Parish for six years. Nathan became a member because he was impressed with both the diversity of the parish and the family focused atmosphere that St. Mark offered.

Nathan is a Lector and regularly attends Nocturnal Adoration.

 

Teresa Wenzel

Teresa has been a member of St. Mark Parish for ten years. She joined due to the proximity of St. Mark to her home.

Teresa is involved with RCIA & Fun Fest & Visits Magnolia Springs Care Home.

Teresa also serves as a Sacristan for weekday Masses and is both a Lector and an Extraordinary Minister for Holy Communion.

John Hibner

John has been attending St. Mark Parish since 1987 and officially became a member through RCIA twenty four years ago.

John is currently involved with Cub and Boy Scouts, Men’s’ Club, CRHP Teams 3 and 16, and Nocturnal Adoration and has been previously been involved with PTG, CYO, Fun Fest, NCYC, St. Mark Dinner/Dance, Small group leader for Catechists

John serves as a Lector and has been a commitee member for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis Catholic Committee on Scouting for fifteen years, serving as Chairperson for two years.

Jesse Cleary

Jesse has been a member of St. Mark Parish for twenty one years after having moved near the Parish. 

Jesse is currently involved with Currently involved with Men's Club, K of C, Uhaul driver for Roncalli Show Choir, Adult Choir, Men's Choir and CYO Athletics.  Past Festival Chair, School Commission, Men's Club President, Scout leader and CRHP SD.

Jesse also serves as an Extraordinary Minister for Holy Communion.

Jesse has been married to his wife, Jody for nearly 22 years. They have two children, Connor (senior at RHS) and Katie (7th grade at SMCS.)

Don Toll

Don has been a member of St. Mark Parish for twenty years. He and his wife, Sandy, chose St. Mark due to the location near their daughter, Lauryn's, school.

Don is active in Christ Renews His Parish, Small Church, Nocturnal Adoration, Fun Fest volunteer, former member of School Commission and CYO coach.

Wilma Cross

Wilma has been a member of St. Mark Parish for Forty Four years. She joined St. Mark after moving into the neighborhood. She is so glad they joined St. Mark Parish and feels blessed to be part of our Parish family.

Wilma has been involved with CRHP, Sisters Circle,  Room Mother at school , Ladies Club, Den Mother for Boy Scouts, & Fun Fest.

Wilma serves on the Welcoming Commitee, Hospitality Ministry, and is an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.

David Olivares

David has been a member of St. Mark Parish for a little over three years.

David is involved with RCIA, Fun Fest, the annual Simbang Gabi Dinner, and helps keep the Parish website up to date.

David also serves as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.

David usually attends 11:45 AM Mass with his wife, Yollie, son, John, nephew, Tony, and niece, Xandra.
